Maui-Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea

Four Seasons 2(Maui, HI) If you ever travel to Maui, Hawaii you must stay at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea.  My wife and I stayed there for our honeymoon and we were blown away! They take care of you top to bottom.  When you get to the hotel, you are greeted by some of the friendliest and funniest people I have ever met at a hotel.  When we were taken to our room, John (a hilarious bellman),  joked with me saying I had made a mistake by staying at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea because it will be hard to impress my wife with any other hotel in the future after staying there. It was hard to disagree with John as the days progressed!

The view from our Ocean-view Deluxe Suite overlooked the ocean and beautiful courtyard below.  The suite had a living room with a giant flat screen HD TV, two balconies, a dining room with private bar and a bedroom with a king size bed.  There was a marble bathroom with a tub and a separate shower and a separate bathroom off the living room with a shower as well! Five people could easily stay in the Ocean-view Deluxe Suite at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea.  It was truly a special room that my wife and I will never forget.

Every morning daily itineraries listing free activities for adults and children were on our dining room table in the living room.  They even list some reasonably priced activities such as spinning!  I love riding bikes so I thought this would be a good activity for me (Note that I have never gone spinning before).  I said to myself “I know how to ride a bike, this should be easy!” It was not easy AT ALL…BUT it was one of the best workouts I ever had and was glad I took advantage of the opportunity to try new things on our vacation.  My wife took advantage of Yoga on the beach and sincerely enjoyed the soothing crashing of the ocean waves.

We spent many days at the pool and beach where the staff made sure we had everything we needed.  They would get towels, water, and even food if we arehungry.  But the best thing was how the shade cabanas and casabellas were free!  (Most places charge you close to a hundred dollars for a cabana).  The Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea also had an Infinity-Edged Swimming Pool (My favorite place to go at the Four Seasons) with a gorgeous view of the beach, and a poolside bar.

After a day in the sun definitely take a walk around the property and check out the many shops at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea.  And for any meal, the restaurants at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea have great food.  No matter what your taste buds prefer, the Fours Season’s can accommodate.  The restaurants at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea are, Spago, Ferraro’s Bar e Ristorante and DUO, all with mouth watering cuisine.

There were so many amenities the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea had to offer. Below find a full list with my own personal comments in parentheses.

·         No Resort fee (You will find that a lot of other resorts in Hawaii have resort fees)

·         Traditional lei greeting and oshibori towels upon arrival (This is a damp, cool towel to wipe you           face with…its very soothing after a day of travel)

·         A Resort staff to guest ratio of 2.0 staff members per guest room (There was always                       someone available to help you.  We never had to wait for the valet to get out car or offer                   directions, etc.)

·         Multi-lingual concierge desk

·         Twice-daily housekeeping service (Typically hotels only do housekeeping once a day)

·         Overnight shoeshine

·         Coffee and tea service from 6 to 10 a.m. located outside Pacific Grill and from 6 to 10 a.m. in           the Games Room (This was a great perk that we took advantage of at the Four Seasons                   Maui)

·         Coffee and muffins available from 2:30 to 6:30 a.m. in Lobby

·         In-room coffee service: coffee maker, pre-packaged coffee and whole coffee beans with                   grinder

·         In-room enhanced tea service:  hot water boiling pot, teapot, assorted teas, lemon, honey and           mugs (upon request)

·         In-room safe

·         In-room DVD player

·         DVD library and music CD library

·         Hair dryer and terry robes in all rooms

·         Children’s program, Kids for All Seasons, (licensed ages 5-12 years) open daily from 9 a.m.             to 5p.m.  (nominal fee for lunch)

·         Children’s amenities including a welcome gift, as well as use of toys, games, videos and                 books

·         Infant needs:  cribs, strollers, high chairs, playpens and safety attachments

·         One of Maui’s finest golden sand crescent beaches – Wailea Beach – is serviced by the                   Resort’s employees (You can snorkel right of the hotel’s beach!)

·         Ice water, iced towels and Evian spritz service at the pools and beach (The staff was VERY             nice and helpful…you can tell that they love their jobs!)

·         Food amenity served at pool and beach twice a day (The food we had was so fresh and                   delicious)

·         Two pools: 40′ x 80′ heated formal swimming pool, with fountain in center and a free-form                 lagoon pool with waterfall and slide, with shallow children’s pool (The pools were very pretty.             The fountain was exceptionally cool!)

·         Pool and beach cabanas, umbrellas and casabellas

·         Two whirlpools (one for adults and one for children)

·         Complimentary Hawaiian outrigger canoe paddling program every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday             on Wailea Beach-weather permitting (Make sure you make a reservation in advance.  This is             a high demand activity.)

·         Snorkel equipment-one hour use daily (Do use the equipment.  Much cheaper than paying to             go out on a boat that snorkels right on the same beach as the Four Seasons)

·         Introductory scuba clinics twice daily

·         Fitness Center with Cybex stations, free weights, ellipticals, upright and recumbent                           bikes, Stairmasters, treadmills, private locker rooms with shower and steam room (The                     fitness center was really clean and very soothing.  Do take advantage of their equipment)

·         Daily introductory fitness classes

·         Two lighted Top-Flight sand-filled synthetic grass supreme tennis courts, rackets, ball                       machine, and balls provided

·         Exercise and tennis attire available on loan

·         Use of Dell DJ (personal music player)

·         Golf putting green

·         Croquet lawn and equipment (A very unique and cool amenity to take advantage of at the                 Four Seasons)

·         Games Room open 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily with table shuffleboard, ping pong, billiards, big               screen TV and video games

·         Golf bag storage and retrieval

·         Wailea Resort shuttle to golf, tennis, shopping, and restaurants

·         Self-parking (You don’t have to use the valet if you don’t want)

MAU_585_screen-hi-resThe Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea is truly amazing!  You really don’t need to go anywhere when you stay at the Four Seasons Maui. But, if you do decide to venture outside of the resort, the concierge can help you plan your day every step of the way (There is a lot to do on Maui, so choose wisely). If you do venture to Hawaii on vacation be sure to stay at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, you will not be disappointed at all!  Our stay was perfect, and I was happy to make it a party of our honeymoon.

Greetings, I am new to private pools. We got a new house in the winter that has a pool which I realize hasfailed to be treated for more than 24 months. My spouse and I opened the pool 2 weeks ago then have been treating it. It started out with a substantial amount of crud in the bottom that we cleaned out. Now it’s very light green, but it’s not getting much better. I found a company not far away, has anyone come across these individuals or recommend any others? Affordable Pool Service & Repair, 2942 N 24th St #114, Phoenix, AZ 85016, (602) 910-2295. Any kind of information will be greatly valued.

Of course, general purpose travel agents who don’t specialize in anywhere
specific can always fall back on green and blue, two colors strongly associated with the whole of the Earth.
