Bed2My fiancée and I were in Manhattan to see Conan O’Brian live at Radio City Music Hall and decided to spend the night at the 46 story Trump SoHo which is only a 15 minute subway right away from Midtown Manhattan. The neighborhood surrounding the Trump SoHo holds a lot of history from being heavily industrialized, to an artist’s haven, to its new look of shopping and trendy restaurants. The Trump SoHo incorporates SoHo’s past and present through architecture, class and sophistication.

24Our room, the King Deluxe Guestroom, offered breathtaking views of the city. We saw downtown all the way up to the bright lights of Times Square and the Empire State Building. As our lids got heavy, and we decided to rest, we were able to close the blinds and shut the lights through our television! (Trust me, I am not making this up!)  Everything in the room is remote controlled making us feel as though we stepped into the future (and let me tell you the future is awesome!). We sunk into our beds and enjoyed a wonderful night’s sleep on Trump SoHo’s Stearns & Foster® Plush Pillowtop Sleep System.

In the morning, the marble tiled bathroom had a view too!  (You can see downtown right from the bathtub).  The bathroom had 2 sinks, a shower stall, a bathtub, and a lot of room.   It was a very comfortable place to get ready for the day.

Aside from a comfortable room, the Trump SoHo offers its customers a variety of services and amenities including The Spa at Trump, out-door swimming pool, valet parking, baby-sitting services, overnight laundry and dry cleaning, wireless internet, a library, personal shopping, meeting rooms, business center and world-class dining at Quattro Gastronomia Italiana.

Bar-StillQuattro Gastronomia Italiana has amazing food. My friend Dave, who lives in New York City, and I went for dinner at Quattro while my fiancée went shopping.  We started our meal with the amazing “Polipo Del Mediterraneo Su Tortino Di Patate Prezzemolate” which is Mediterranean octopus with lemon dressing, potatoes and parsley. I followed that with the best Lobster Bisque I have ever had in my entire life (No exaggeration. I’ve had excellent Lobster Bisque in Nova Scotia and this is much better). For the main course I had their delicious “Risotto Ai Frutti Di Mare” which is Risotto with tomato sauce and Dave had the “Spaghetto Tradizionale Alle Vongole Veraci” which is Spaghetti with Clams, Garlic, Parsley and Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Dave had me try some and it was fantastic (The sauce was so good)! For desert we had some of the best homemade donuts and gelato ever.  Everything we had was so good.  Overall it was an excellent meal.  I recommend anyone eat at Quattro Gastronomia Italiana but make sure you bring your appetite, because there are so many delicious dishes to try. The Quattro Gastronomia Italiana is a perfect restaurant to compliment the Trump SoHo.

If you want to enjoy a stay in a chic neighborhood of Manhattan, complete with the style of both past and present, spend the night at Trump SoHo, it will blow you away.
